Bullish trend continued in sugar market for the sixth consecutive day. Producers were selling at ₹30-40 a quintal higher lifting the spot rates. Naka rates were steady. Arrivals to the Vashi market were at 60-61 truck loads and local dispatches were at 59-60 loads. On Tuesday evening, 15-16 mills offered tenders and sold about 56,000-58,000 bags at ₹2,800-80 (2,790-2,840) for S-grade and ₹2,880-2,950 (2,850-2,920) for M-grade.

The Bombay Sugar Merchants Association’s spot rates: S-grade ₹2,896-2,962 (2,842-2,962) and M-grade ₹2,950-3,072 (2,916-3,062). Naka delivery rates: S-grade ₹2,840-2,900 (2,840-2,900) and M-grade ₹2,930-3,030 (2,930-3,030).
