Steady conditions prevailed at the wholesale sugar market today as the prices moved in a tight range on alternate bouts of trading and settled around the previous levels.
Market analysts said adequate stocks against sporadic demand mainly kept sugar prices steady.
Following are the quotations in Rs per quintal: Sugar ready M-30 2,980-3,105 and S-30 2,955-2,980.
Mill delivery M-30 2,780-2,930 and S-30 2,765-2,905.
Sugar mill gate prices (excluding duty): Kinonni 2,910, Asmoli 2,890, Mawana 2,850, Titabi 2,820, Thanabhavan 2,790, Budhana 2785 and Dorala 2,835.
