Bearish trend continued in sugar market on Wednesday on limited demand and higher selling pressure. Prices at the Vashi wholesale market dropped further by ₹10/quintal. Naka and mill tender rates were range-bound with thin volatility. Arrivals were at 58-60 truckloads and local dispatches were at 56-57 loads. The Bombay Sugar Merchants Association’s spot rates: (in ₹) S-grade 3,640-3,720 (3,650-3,730) and M-grade 3,762-3,912 (3,772-3,922). Naka delivery rates (in ₹): S-grade 3,600-3,680 (3,600-3,670) and M- grade 3,650-3,780 (3,700-3,780).
