Sugar prices at the Vashi wholesale market declined by Rs 10 a quintal tracking weak mill tender rates. Bulk and retail demand remained limited. Arrivals were at 60-62 truck loads and local dispatches were at 58-60 loads. Freight rates were steady at Rs 80-100 per bag. The Bombay Sugar Merchants Association spot rates: S-grade Rs 3,216-3,272 and M-grade Rs 3,262-3,382. Naka delivery rates: S-grade Rs 3,210-3,240 and M-grade Rs 3,230-3,290.
