Despite a dip in arrivals, prices of the turmeric ruled unchanged at Erode markets. Only medium variety turmeric arrived for sale and traders purchased to fulfil their local requirements.
At the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association, finger turmeric was sold at ₹5,409-8,699 a quintal and root variety at ₹5,258-7,934. Of the arrival of 1,824 bags, 833 were traded.
