The price of turmeric remains low in Erode.At the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association Sales yard, finger turmeric sold at ₹5,599 to ₹7,199 a quintal, root variety sold at₹5,393 to ₹6,269 a quintal.
At the Regulated Marketing Committee, finger turmeric sold at ₹6,009 to ₹6,966 a quintal, root variety sold at ₹5,599 to ₹6414 a quintal. At the Erode Cooperative Marketing Society, finger turmeric sold at ₹5,809 to ₹7,200 a quintal, root variety sold at ₹5,508 to ₹6320 a quintal.
