Turmeric prices tumbled on Friday. At the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association Salesyard, finger turmeric was sold at ₹5,788-7,288 a quintal and root variety at ₹5,333-6,699.
At the Regulated Marketing Committee, finger turmeric was sold at ₹6,009-7,265 and root variety at ₹5,766-6,81.
At the Erode Cooperative Marketing Society, finger turmeric was sold at ₹5,758-7,069 and root variety at ₹5,333-6,739.
