Silver prices traded lower by Rs 119 to Rs 37,150 per kg at the futures trade today amid a weak global trend.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in October fell Rs 119 or 0.32 per cent to Rs 37,150 per kg in a business turnover of 80 lots.
On similar lines, the white metal for delivery in July traded lower by Rs 101 or 0.27 per cent to Rs 36,632 per kg in 3,106 lots.
Market analysts said offloading of positions by speculators in line with a weak global trend mainly dragged down silver prices at the futures trade.
Globally, silver declined by 0.53 per cent to $15.92 an ounce in Singapore.
