Silver prices rose 0.15 per cent to Rs 35,383 per kg at the futures trade today largely in tune with a recovery trend in global market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in September traded higher by Rs 53 or 0.15 per cent to Rs 35,383 per kg in a business turnover of 1,260 lots.
Also, the white metal for delivery in far-month December rose Rs 27 or 0.07 per cent to Rs 36,110 per kg in 30 lots.
In the international market, silver gained 0.85 per cent to $15.36 an ounce in New York in yesterday’s trade.
Market analysts said a firming trend in the global market mainly influenced silver futures here.
