Silver prices were up by Rs 40 at Rs 41,548 per kg at the futures trade today due to widening of bets by speculators.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in July was trading higher by Rs 40 or 0.1 per cent at Rs 41,548 per kg in a business turnover of 494 lots. The white metal for delivery in September advanced by Rs 30 or 0.07 per cent to Rs 42,185 per kg in 31 lots.
