Engineers India, after market hours, on Wednesday said that it has received orders worth ₹150 crore from clients in West Asia since April. These orders, which came through its Abu Dhabi office, are from oil and gas companies as well as through engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors. Engineers India’s Abu Dhabi office has been expanded to cater to clients in the region. The stock may see buying interest at the bourses.
Fineotex Chem goes for stock split
The stock of Fineotex Chemicals will remain in focus, as the shares will reflect the stock-split price. Earlier, the company had proposed to sub-divide the shares of face value ₹10 to ₹2 a share. The stock will start trading in the range of ₹33-38 range from Thursday. Amitabh Bachchan owns 5.45 per cent stake in the company. The specialty chemicals firm has fixed Friday (June 12) as record date for the proposed stock split.
Cera Sanitaryware board meets to mull expansion
The board of directors of Cera Sanitaryware will meet on Thursday to consider entering into a joint ventre for sanitaryware or tile manufacturing. As one of the high performing stocks in the last six years, analysts will be watching the development. From ₹100 in 2009, the Cera Sanitaryware share jumped to an all-time high of ₹2,950 in April this year. Institutions, both foreign and domestic, have raised stakes steadily in the company.
