The mood in the Calcutta Stock Exchange (CSE) remained firm during the week as the market lost ground sharply.
The CSE-40 was down 328.87 points during the week. The local bourse was up 72 points higher in the previous week. The index opened at 6454.78 and during the week slipped to close 6125.91 the week.
Blueprint Securities was at Rs 309.50. Damodar Ropeways was at Rs 14.50 at close. IT major Infosys Technologies was down at Rs 2862.80 at end of the week. State Bank of India was down at Rs 2082 to finish the week and Tata Steel ended lower at Rs 321.50.
Reliance Industries ended the week at Rs 808 and Twenty First century was at Rs 327.15 at end of week.
