Mr K. Raghavendra Rao, Chairman and Managing Director of Orchid Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals has recently pledged 4,50,000 shares on the BSE, taking the total shares pledged to 84.7 per cent. The total number of shares held by Mr Rao in the company is 69,25,173. The total number of shares pledged till now is 58,65,383. This is 8.33 per cent of the total number of outstanding shares of the company.
