Bharti AXA Investment Managers has appointed Mr Alok Singh as the Chief Investment Officer of Fixed Income, said a release from the company on Monday.
Mr Singh was earlier with BNP Paribas Asset Management where he was heading Fixed Income and Structured Products. Prior to that, Mr Singh was working with AXIS Bank as part of the Fixed Income desk.
Mr Singh holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from ICFAI Business School 2000 batch. He completed his CFA along side with his management education in 2000.
Bharti AXA manages assets worth Rs 152 crore as at the end of March 2012 quarter as opposed to Rs 161 crore as of the quarter ending December 2011. The fund houses six schemes in the debt fund category.
