Adani Power has informed the exchanges that warrant-holders, to whom warrants were allotted in May 2016 on preferential basis, have exercised their right for conversion of part of the warrants into equity shares. Consequently, the management committee of the board on January 23 made allotment of 2.79 crore equity shares to the warrant-holders. The stock inched up 1.3 per cent at ₹34.75 on the BSE.
Kalindee Rail Nirman (Engineers) has informed the exchanges that its board will meet on January 30 to consider finalising the record date for issuance and allotment of equity shares of Texmaco Rail & Engineering . The allotment will be based on the scheme of amalgamation between Texmaco and the company and their respective shareholders and creditors. The board had fixed the share swap ratio at 1: 1.06, i.e., 106 fully paid-up equity shares of ₹1 each of Texmaco will be issued for every 100 fully paid-up equity share of ₹10 each held by shareholders. Shares of Kalindee Rail Nirman and Texmaco Rail edged up 2.4 per cent at ₹118.8 and ₹113.8, respectively, on the BSE.
Advani Hotels & Resorts (India) has informed the BSE that its international licence and training agreement with Wyndham Hotel Asia Pacific Co Ltd for ‘Ramada’ brand is valid up to January 31. In view of this, Ramada Caravela Beach Resort, Goa, will be renamed as Caravela Beach Resort, Goa, from January 31 midnight. Shares of Advani Hotels gained 2.45 per cent at ₹54.3 on the BSE.
