Cords Cable Industries has received approval from Airports Authority of India as a pre-qualified supplier. This approval will enable the company to offer its approved list of cables towards creating, upgrading, maintaining and managing aviation infrastructure in the country for the projects where AAI is entrusted with airport modernisation and development, it said in a statement to the exchanges. The approval is valid for one year (on trial basis) and can be extendable for a further period of three years, basis fulfilling certain performance criteria. Shares of Cords Cable jumped 2.6 per cent at ₹61.05 on the NSE.
