Cement, steel and power companies will be keenly watching the railway budget. Though the freight rate has already been hiked by 6.5 per cent by the Railway Ministry much ahead of the Budget, there is optimism in industrial circles that there would some concession in the Railway Budget for these firms. Any positive announcements will revive the sentiment for Coal India, SAIL, JSW Steel, Ambuja Cements and Shree Cements, among others.
