Lasa Supergenerics has resumed production at its Mahad (MIDC) unit, following the major fire reported on April 26. The company had then said that the fire incident had resulted in the entire operations of the company being halted, including running batches in process. However, the orphaned batches in process were successfully rescued with no loss of yield and purity of product, it had said. The company did not suffer any operational loss and all the hard assets were intact with no major impact, Lasa said. Lasa Supergenerics is among the leading manufacturers of veterinary APIs in India through its catalyst chemistry expertise and fully backward integrated unit. Shares of Lasa Supergenerics gained 3.86 per cent at ₹76.65 on the NSE.
