Lycos, a global Internet brand, on Tuesday announced the appointment of Ernst & Young as its internal auditor. EY will help the company achieve trusted corporate governance and reporting levels. Lycos is evolving from pioneering search on the web, into a family of three business units covering digital media, marketing, and Internet of Things (IoT). EY will help the company with a holistic view to improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance, said Lycos. To attract and retain the best talent, and to foster a creative environment, Lycos has moved its corporate head office to a new space designed around the concept of ‘open office’. Shares of Lycos jumped 3.84 per cent at ₹5.40 on the NSE.
