Gold financing company Muthoot Finance jumped as much as 7.5 per cent to Rs 429.70, in its biggest intraday percentage gain since February 8.
The company’s June-quarter net profit jumped about 43 per cent to Rs 492 crore. Loan assets rose 11 per cent to Rs 27,857 crore. More than 2.9 million shares changed hands, 4.7 times the 30-day average of 627,100.
