Shares of airline companies such as Jet Airways (India), Interglobe Aviation and SpiceJet may come under pressure following imposition of penalty on them by the Competition Commission of India.
The Competition Commission has imposed a penalty of ₹39.81 crore on Jet Airways, ₹9.45 crore on Interglobe Aviation and ₹5.1 crore on SpiceJet citing concerted action by these airline companies in fixing and revising fuel surcharge.
Investors will closely monitor the situation.
