Berger Paints has signed a shareholder agreement with Rock Paint Co of Japan for setting up a joint venture company in India - Berger Rock Paints Pvt Ltd or any other name as may be approved by the Registrar of Companies. The JV will be engaged in developing, producing and selling superior automotive refinish paints in India and Nepal. Berger Paints will hold 51 per cent in the joint venture. Investors will closely monitor the activity of joint venture.
