NHPC on Thursday said it has been declared the successful resolution applicant by the Committee of Creditors (CoC) of Lanco Teesta Hydro Power, subject to approval by the Adjudicating Authority. Lanco Infratech is currently undergoing insolvency proceedings. Lanco Teesta Hydro Power is a part of the six hydro electric projects under development on the Teesta river by the Government of Sikkim. The project was allotted in 2005 on BOOT basis.
