Tarini International has became the sixty first company to get listed on the BSE SME (small and medium enterprises) platform. The Delhi based company is engaged in providing financial and technical consultancy related to hydro power generation, transmission, distribution and infrastructure.
The company has successfully completed its public issue on June 13, 2014. Its initial public offering of 39,78,000 equity shares was priced at Rs 41 per equity share.
The 61 companies listed on BSE SME Platform have raised Rs 533.56 crores from the market so far, and total market capitalisation as on June 27, is Rs 7,500 crores. BSE is the market leader in this segment with a market share of 92 percent.
The Securities and Exchange Board of India had come out with detailed guidelines on May 18, 2010, for launching of the SME Exchange, Platform. BSE became the first stock exchange to get the approval from SEBI and launched its SME platform on March 13, 2012.
