Corporation Bank has recorded a net profit of ₹160.50 crore in the second quarter of 2014-15 as against a net profit of ₹15.47 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
The net interest income was at ₹983.10 crore (₹909.85 crore), and the non-interest income at ₹288.94 crore (₹339.66 crore).
The gross NPA of the bank increased to 4.45 per cent (3.17 per cent), and the net NPA to 2.92 per cent (2.20 per cent) during the quarter.
Provisions (other than tax) and contingencies stood at ₹520.38 crore (₹ 699.82 crore) during the second quarter of 2014-15.
