The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (Assocham) has presented four awards to Dharwad-headquartered Karnataka Vikas Grameen Bank (KVGB). The bank won the awards under ‘agricultural banking’, ‘priority sector lending other than agriculture’, ‘technology’, and ‘overall best social banking’ under Assocham’s Social Banking Excellence Awards 2018 in the ‘Regional Rural Banks - Large’ category. Ananda Sinha, former Deputy Governor, RBI, handed over the award to S Ravindran, Chairman, KVGB, at the 14th Annual Banking Summit in Mumbai on Tuesday.
