Mr V.P. Nandakumar, Chairman of Manappuram Group of Companies and the person instrumental in elevating a small Kerala-based gold loan company to India's first listed and highest credit rated gold loan company, has been selected as the Dhanam Businessman of 2010.
The jury noted that the Chairman of Manappuram Group, through his vision, dedication, commitment and professionalism, has steadily built up the company through extensive expansion and reach to a universally acclaimed business model.
The award will be presented to Mr Nandakumar at the Dhanam Business Summit and Award Night-2011 to be held on May 28 at Hotel Dream, Kochi.
