Canara Bank’s profits for third quarter of fiscal 2018-19 is 152.50 per cent higher at ₹317.52 crore as against ₹125.75 crore profits posted in the same period last year.
The bank’s total income is also higher by 9.49 per cent at ₹13,513.35 crore as against ₹12,341.09 crore recorded last year. EPS for the quarter stood at ₹4.33 as against ₹2.11 posted last year.
The bank posted a revenue of ₹2,960.32 crore from treasury operations (₹3,043.51 crore last year), revenue from retail banking operations was ₹4,858.59 crore (₹4,631.12 crore) and revenue from wholesale banking operations was ₹5,616.62 crore (₹3,898.53 crore).
