Public sector lender Indian Bank has increased its base rate by 0.5 per cent with immediate effect.
“The base rate is revised by 0.50 per cent from the existing rate of 9 per cent to 9.50 per cent per annum with effect from February 1, 2011,” the Chennai based bank said in a statement today.
