SBI fetes women achievers

State Bank of India, Bengal Circle, observed the centenary year of the International Women's Day by facilitating women achievers in various fields.

They included Ms Jhula Goswami, Ms Mouma Das and Ms Amrita in sports, Ms Chandrabali Rudra Dutta and Ms Kaushiki Desikan in music, Ms Rakhipurnima Dasgupta, a successful entrepreneur, Ms Nandini Sengupta, a social worker, Ms Rita Sinha Dasgupta, an academician, Ms Alokananda Roy , the dancer, and Ms Sanghomitra Bandopadhyaya, the winner of Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Award, in the field of science and technology, according to a SBI release.

Three women self-help groups received awards for outstanding performance.
