The United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF), in partnership with the Institute of International Education (IIE), is organising a US Universities Fair on November 7 in Hyderabad.

Representatives from 37 accredited US universities will offer information about their academic programmes. Participating schools will represent a wide geographical area as well as a range of academic programmes at undergraduate, graduate and doctorate level programmes.

“USIEF is committed to helping Indian students find accredited US universities that are the best fit for their academic and professional needs and goals. We welcome Indian students to obtain genuine and relevant advice from us through these fairs,” said Adam J. Grotsky, Executive Director, USIEF.

While students will not be offered on-the-spot admissions guidance provided by the university representatives, the USIEF team will help them make informed choices about the colleges and programmes throughout the fair hours between 4 pm to 8 pm.

Informative panel discussions on the admissions cycle will be held during the education fair, including a session on student visas by a US consular officer. Students also may be able to collect application forms and view materials from school representatives.

Admission to the fair is free. Students can register online at http://bit.ly/USIEF-IIE2012
