The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority has finalised plans to sell plots through electronic bidding and sealed tender approach.
The authority has notified that 42 plots are located in the prime areas of the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad at Nandagiri Hills, Tellapur, Gopannpally, Miyapur, the latter three close to IT hubs and other locations.
These plots are meant for residential, group housing, commercial use and for service establishments.
The upset price for Nandagiri plots is ranging from Rs 9,000 to Rs. 25,000 for a square yard and for one acre site the starting price for bid is Rs 18 crore for an acre. According to the notification, the proposed plots for bidding are in well developed layouts with all basic amenities and will be sold as is where is basis. Those interested can either access information through the authority website and follow up the tender process or directly get in touch with certain designated officers including Estate Officer and Assistant Town Planning Officer. The date of commencement of the process has been notified as July 14. While the time for closure is August 7, the bids will be opened on August 8. These interested have to deposit earnest money of 10 per cent of the total upset price.
