Kochi-based realty developer Asset Homes has set a target of Rs 2,000 crore revenue by 2020 in its Vision 2020 plans.

V. Sunil Kumar, managing director, said that the group has plans to launch 20 new housing projects in major cities in the State with an investment to the tune of Rs 500 crore. There are also plans to foray into the affordable housing sector in various cities across the country as part of business diversification plans, he added.

It also plans to form a charitable trust that addresses social security and other charity activities. A finishing school will be introduced soon to help civil engineering graduates to enhance their soft skills.

K Anil Varma, executive director, said Asset Homes is also foraying into building residential apartments for the Indian defence community. The company will develop 600 apartments and villas at an estimated cost of Rs 300 crore in the next two years.

There are also plans to get into tourism infrastructure segment with high-end projects, he added.

K.A. Mohammed Salim, chairman, said that with its excellent track record over the years, Asset Homes has emerged as the trusted builder with time-bound delivery of projects.
