The Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India (CREDAI) to hold its second edition of the New India Summit on the December 6-7 at Mysuru to address the progress and issues faced by the real estate developers from Tier II, III & IV cities in the country.

The theme of the summit is ‘Emerging Cities, India’s Future’. CREDAI aims to realize the true potential of the sector from non-metro cities to increase their contribution to the Indian real estate industry.

CREDAI National President, Jaxay Shah, said, “The second edition of New India Summit in Mysuru is expected to be a grand celebration of the emergence as well as the contribution of Tier II and III cities not only towards the Indian real estate sector but also the entire economy. We believe Mysuru to be an ideal destination for this summit, owing to its strong cultural heritage and booming industrialization. We congratulate CREDAI Mysore and their entire team for their constant efforts in order to make it a grand success.”

The real estate industry, having gone through a revolutionary phase in the last two years, provides an extremely exciting opportunity for the entire sector. CREDAI believes that Indian Real Estate now has the adequate platform and regulatory framework to spearhead the growth of the Indian economy.

With the project “Housing for all by 2022” acting as a catalyst for the industry, CREDAI understands the importance and significance of the role that realtors from smaller cities will play in the long term growth of the industry and the economy as a whole.

Coupled with last year’s New India Summit having garnered tremendous success, CREDAI intends to continue the momentum to further the real estate growth in the Tier II, III & IV cities across the country.

The Inaugural session will see a talk by Sri Sri Ravishankar, the Indian Spiritual leader. Union Minister of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Ananth Kumar Hegde.

Getamber Anand, Chairman, CREDAI National, said “We at CREDAI, have consistently taken up initiatives for the long term growth and sustenance of the Indian Real Estate sector and all its stakeholders. New India Summit is a landmark conference which speaks volumes of the true potential of Indian realty that we as a leading industry body want to convey to not just our members but to the entire real estate universe. We anticipate this summit to be another stepping stone for the industry’s unceasing growth and development.”

K. Sriram, Joint Secretary, CREDAI National and CREDAI representative in Mysuru, said, “The cities are growing exponentially, thereby putting enormous burden on the current infrastructure. Therefore, creation of new urban centres is very critical for de-cluttering the metros. Upgrading the infrastructure in smaller cities and towns will enable them to attract economic and industrial activity to a great extent.”
