Startup Village has launched a 'Startup Academy' to promote entrepreneurial culture among students and make them industry-ready.
The academy was formally inaugurated by Raju Hormis, Head, CSR of Federal Bank.
The academy, set up in association with Federal Bank, offers courses in four verticals — Entrepreneurship, Employability Skills and Life Hacks, Technical Workshops and Leadership. Each of these verticals is tailored to suit the varying interest of the students.
The startup academy will teach young students these strategies which they can either apply for creating a technology startup or use in their professional life to achieve greater success, Startup Village Chairman, Sanjay Vijayakumar, said.
The Federal Bank has partnered with the academy to help Startup Village train 1,000 engineering students in mobile app development. The programme is open for students from all colleges across the country.
