The entrepreneur has established a brand, ‘Nirapara' in a traditional product range covering rice, rice flour and a range of rice-based powders and is continuously expanding the brand to cover ready-to-eat products, spices, spice mixes.
The KKR Group is one of the largest operators of rice mills and buyers of paddy in Kerala.
The product range targeting the Malayalees in the domestic and overseas markets has become a household name in South India as they are increasingly in demand by a wider segment of the population.
The award is a great recognition of the Nirapara products' global acceptance and an ‘encouragement for entrepreneurs,' says Mr Karnan.
