Capillary Tech raises $14 million

Capillary Technologies, which is into cloud-based retail customer engagement management, has raised $14 million in a Series B round led by Sequoia Capital and Norwest Venture Partners. The money will be used to increase Capillary’s cloud-based integrated marketing platform and grow its partnership ecosystem. It had raised $17 million in a Series A round in 2012.

Shriram Properties gets ₹468 crore

Tata Opportunities Fund, Tata Capital’s private equity fund, has picked up Shriram group’s stake in Shriram Properties for ₹468 crore. Shriram Properties will have a 41 per cent stake and the balance will be with the investors, including TPG, Walton Street Capital, Starwood Capital, ASK Real Estate, Prudential ICICI, Sun Apollo and Amplus.

2nd round funding for Reviews42

Online consumer products research platform Reviews42 has raised $5 million in Series B funding from Tiger Global and Nirvana Venture Advisors. The money will be used to develop and innovate products, build the team and improve infrastructure. Along with the fund raise, the company has re-branded itself to Zopper. In April 2013, it raised an undisclosed amount from Nirvana Venture Advisors, Blume Venture and others.

Urban Ladder raises ₹120 crore

Online furniture company Urban Ladder has raised ₹120 crore in the second round of funding led by Steadview Capital of Hong

Kong along with existing investors SAIF Partners and Kalaari Capital. It had raised $5 million in a round led by SAIF Partners in November and $1 million from Kalaari Capital in August 2012.
