Dharwad Nagarika Parisara Samiti organised on Saturday and Sunday a programme on migratory birds as part of the World Migratory Bird Day. Deputy Commissioner-Dharwad, Mr Darpan Jain, inaugurated a photo exhibition and activities related to bird watching in natural habitat for children at the Government Art Gallery on Karnatak College Road.
Artiste Mr Suresh Kulkarni and North Karnataka Bird Watcher's Association member Mr Gurunath Desai spoke on ‘Birds and Environment' and ‘Migratory Birds', respectively, said a press release.
