Global hearing-aid company Starkey Hearing Technologies has reinvented Livio AI, which tracks brain and body health and is claimed to be the world’s first hearing aid with fall-detection alert and language translation functions.
“... with Livio AI, we have transformed a single-use device into a multi-purpose hearing aid, a Healthable with integrated sensors and artificial intelligence,” said Starkey Hearing President Brandon Sawalich.
The hearing-aid technology provides an average 50 per cent reduction in noisy environment, significant reduced listening effort, and newly enhanced clarity of speech, while the use of artificial intelligence and integrated sensors optimise the hearing experience, said a company statement.
