The glorious re-election of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the triumph of hope and optimism over the politics of division and negativity. In one stroke, the Prime Minister has decimated the age-old boundaries of caste, creed and religion to emerge as the tallest leader in India whose appeal cuts across geographies. What the election of 2019 signifies is that the divisive caste politics that dominated the Hindi heartland States is no longer relevant.

The politics of Mandal has finally been laid to rest with the people in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar rising above the cleavages of caste and creed to vote for politics of development and progress that PM Modi signifies.

Regional players who thought they could forever use affiliations of caste as a permanent vote bank now have tangible reasons to believe that their days are over. The native wisdom of our people from the lowest rungs of society to the upper-most echelons has spoken in favour of a progressive leader who has put India first and all other considerations behind.

In Bihar as well as in Uttar Pradesh where smaller parties has thus far used social justice as a tool for personal enrichment, a new consciousness has germinated. People are no longer fooled by the false promises of social justice.

They are looking for concrete results and the promise of a future. And they are getting it from the one leader who has worked consistently for the larger good and not personal enrichment or promotion of narrow family interests.

People have recognised the effort that the PM and our party president Amit Shah has put in towards extending the benefits of policies to the last man in the line. Under Ujjwala Yojna, cooking gas reached 13 crore households in the last five year. Our Government has provided 2.5 crore people with a house. In addition, we have already provided electricity to almost all households in the country.

Under our health insurance scheme, Ayushman Bharat, 50 crore people have been provided funds to meet their healthcare needs. Under PM Kisan, we have extended income support to the small farmer.

A vote for Modi is also a recognition of the government’s efforts to make a substantial effort towards improving the life of every Indian without considerations of any vote bank politics.

A word about the rejection of negative campaign spearheaded by the Congress. The Opposition centred this campaign solely on attacking the PM, his policies, his personal life and people saw through it. When opportunistic alliances are made for the only reason that they want to defeat a leader, the motive and the direction of such a campaign is visible to the common man. People have defeated a negative campaign and negative leaders whose sole aim in this election was to defeat Modi. We had the vision and the leader. They only had negativity on their side.

Secularism bogey

It is also time to understand that secularism is only a bogey erected to alienate the BJP. As the Prime Minister himself pointed out in his press conference, we are a nation that celebrates Ramzan, Hanuman Jayanti and Easter together.

Insecurity and fear that is constantly pumped up by the Opposition to create a divide between the BJP and minorities, specifically the Muslims, is only a political tool.

The benefits of government policies, be it Ujjwala or Ayushman Bharat, are there for everybody. We believe in Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas . Muslims in India have understood this and we are witnessing the emergence of inclusive politics that would ensure the participation of the biggest minority in the country in the PM’s development project.

Lastly, no comment on the BJP’s victory is complete without the astounding campaign run by our party president, the tireless and indefatigable Amit Shah. He worked for five years without a break, without a vacation and without rest even after a bout of illness. The BJP is the biggest political party in the world and the most formidable election machine in India.

The vision of the PM and the inexhaustible efforts of the party president have resulted in the BJP’s emergence as the most dominant political force in India. The writing on the wall is clear: Baar Baar, Modi Sarkar .
