Major markets across the globe were in the red this week, flush with Greek debt woes. The rout in the Chinese equity market continued as margin traders unwound their positions. Shares of electric car maker Tesla Motors zoomed on strong sales numbers in the second quarter. But investors took flight from their American Airlines stock holdings after the Department of Justice announced a probe into possible price collusion among airlines.
Bond yields, barring that of Japan, dipped on mixed data on US jobs that raised questions about the economy. Dollar and the euro were weak.
