When it comes to spending big and living it up (literally), you got to hand it to that mecca of capitalism — the US. Five of the world’s top ten billionaire skyscraper homes are in the US, says a report by Wealth-X.
These ten well-equipped pads cost serious money — up to $10,740 (that’s nearly ₹6,40,000) a square foot.
No surprise then, that most of these luxury apartments are housed in the financial nerve centres of the world. New York leads the pack with four of these properties.
But it’s London on the other side of the Atlantic that’s home to the costliest home of them all. A penthouse in One Hyde Park, London, is yours for a cool £136.4 million. That’s a little over ₹1,360 crore. Anand Kalyanaraman
