My favourite airport : Ngerende Airstrip, Narok County, Kenya.

What i like about it: It was a real reflection of the place it belonged to and not a commercial centre, serving the bare minimum purpose of getting to the virgin Mara Forest Game Reserve. This airstrip can be accessed by 5-25 seater planes only. There is just one airstrip, with just one 250 sq feet of station room, which hosts a toilet and some very basic machinery.

The most interesting part was that on take-off and landing you could witness real wildlife, which is otherwise a very rare sight in most of the other wildlife reserves globally. I saw a herd of elephants, making this an unforgettable airport experience.

What could be improved: I feel there is no need for improvement. Each new facility would take away something from this real-life experience.

Other airports I like: Other airport I like isAbeid Amani Karume International Airport , which is the airport for Zanzi Bar, which is small island city off the coast of Tanzania, for its coastal feel. It had its natural touch to it. For example, there were no conveyor belts for the luggage, so the luggage was moved by the airport officials. There was no air conditioning but was aired by these large coastal fans which were created from the local materials. A true local touch full of hospitality.
