Amara Raja Batteries Limited has posted a net profit of Rs 102.34 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2014, as against a net profit of Rs 95.01 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.
The company income for the third quarter was shot up at Rs 1,066.45 crore versus Rs 862.93 crore for the corresponding quarter last year, as per filings with the BSE.
The company shares gained over 5 per cent on the BSE today to close at 891.90, up Rs 42.70.
