Balaji Amines Ltd, a speciality chemicals manufacturer, has crossed the Rs 100- crore export mark during the fiscal ended March 31, 2012.
The Rs 485-crore company also commissioned its expanded Methylamines plant with a capacity of 30,000 tonnes per annum in March.
The company has registered under EU norms for REACH certification to supply certain products. This will help it target exports of maximum capacity from this new facility to EU countries.
The Hyderabad-based company, which also makes aliphatic amines and its derivates meets the needs of the agrochemicals, rubber, refineries and other industries.
It has 3 manufacturing complexes, with 2 facilities in Solapur, Maharashtra and one at Hyderabad and a research and development centre.
