The Central Arecanut and Cocoa Marketing and Processing Cooperative (Campco) Ltd will launch a new chocolate this week.
Suresh Bhandary, Managing Director of Campco Ltd, said the cooperative would launch its new chocolate ‘Dairy Dream’ in Mangalore on September 18.
It will be priced at Rs 20 for a 35-gm pack. Bhandary said that Dairy Dream would be cocoa butter-based premium product. Bhandary said, “We are introducing it with a target of around 300 tonnes per annum. We are targeting premium outlets for marketing this product.” Campco produced 8,960 tonnes of products during 2012-13 as against 8,308 tonnes in 2011-12. Apart from its white chocolate Milk n Milk, the cooperative had also launched Snack Bar, a wafer biscuit based product, last year.
