Cable TV distribution company Den Networks has posted a 42.2 per cent dip in net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2014. The Mumbai-headquartered company’s net profit for the quarter decreased to ₹10 crore from ₹17.3 crore in the corresponding year ago period. Revenue went up by 11.4 per cent to ₹301.9 crore (₹271 crore), according to data on the Bombay Stock Exchange. Den has digitised about 6.1 million homes out of its current subscriber of 13 million homes, the company said in a press statement. For the full year ended March 31, 2014, Den recorded a 38.4 per cent dip in net profit to ₹38.4 crore (₹62.3 crore) while revenue went up 22.2 per cent to ₹1117 crore (₹914 crore).
