Ahmedabad-based animal healthcare player Hester Biosciences Ltd on Thursday posted net profit of ₹8.86 crore for the second quarter ended September, 2017, about 48 per cent up from ₹5.99 crore reported in the same quarter a year ago.
Company's net sales for the quarter stood at ₹38.48 crore, up 27.53 per cent from ₹30.17 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
For the first half period of April-September, company's net profit stood at ₹15.04 crore, up 25.27 per cent from ₹12.01 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.
Net sales for the six-month period stood at ₹67.52 crore, up 11 per cent from ₹60.89 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
