Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt Ltd on Wednesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HDFC ERGO General Insurance as a preferred insurance partner for Honda two-wheelers in India.
Elaborating on this latest two-wheeler insurance partnership, Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Senior Vice-President, Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, said this is “a truly win-win situation for our customers”.
They will get 40 per cent saving on insurance premium (own-damage) and near cashless claims settlement with convenient digital interface, he said.
“Driven by this partnership with HDFC Ergo, we aim to further delight our customers this festive season,” Guleria said.
Ritesh Kumar, Managing Director & CEO, HDFC ERGO General Insurance, said this tie-up would “help us grow in motor insurance and expand our portfolio”.
Through this alliance, Honda customers would get robust online insurance support with instant policy issuance, backed with “best in class services offered”, Kumar added.
