Bangalore-based TMA Hospitality Services Pvt. Ltd plans to double the number of outlets of its brand Ammi’s Biryani in the next 12 months.

“We have 75 outlets today and will take this to 145 by the end of 2015,” Navaj Sharief, founder and CMD of the Company said, adding that the Rs 60 crore required for the expansion is already in place. He was speaking at the launch of the brand in Pune.

Ammi’s Biryani is currently present in Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai and Pune and plans to add outlets in Mumbai and Pune to take the number of outlets in these cities to 55 and 20 respectively. It plans to enter the Delhi market in 2016.

In 2012, private equity firm SAIF Partners invested Rs 60 crore in TMA for a majority stake.

With a promise of reducing delivery time for food parcels to customers from 45 minutes to 29 minutes, Sharief said that 75 per cent of the business in came from take away and delivery business.
